Warranty Policy
Duck Bros Tech Ltd. ("Company") provides the following limited warranty for Duck Bros Tech Ltd. products ("Products"):
Who is eligible for this guarantee?
The original purchaser of the product. This limited warranty is not transferable. The limited warranty applies only to defects discovered within the corresponding warranty period.
In what cases does the warranty apply?
The Company warrants that its products ("Products") will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal conditions of use and service and within the warranty period provided by the product manufacturer.
In the event a defect occurs in a product or warranted part within the corresponding limited warranty period, the purchaser's sole and exclusive remedy shall be, at the Company's option, to replace or repair the defective or failed product or part with the same or a similar model, with the replaced or repaired part being covered by a warranty for the original limited warranty period or 14 days after receipt, whichever is longer, or for any additional period required by applicable law.
When the warranty does not apply
- Products with a warranty period greater than 12 months.
- Any product that the Company determines to be fraudulent, counterfeit, or purchased from an unauthorized distributor or reseller.
- Products purchased or used outside of Japan, or products that do not have serial numbers.
- Products for which order information cannot be confirmed.
- Products that are lost or obviously damaged during transportation by the logistics company.
- Damage caused by normal wear and tear, improper or negligent assembly, maintenance, installation, or forced use beyond the normal limits of use, equipment failure.
- Damage or equipment failure caused by the use of third-party parts or accessories, or the use of parts or accessories not sold by the Company or not in accordance with the Company's manuals or instructions.
- Any attempt to repair the product prior to contacting the Company will void this limited warranty.
- Damage or equipment failure caused by accident, misuse, improper or abnormal use, neglect, theft, vandalism, fire, flood, wind, lightning, freezing or other natural disasters, electrical wiring, power reduction, power fluctuation or power failure, abnormal atmospheric conditions, collision, intervention of external objects, or unauthorized or Company-recommended modifications.
- The Company shall not be liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages arising out of or relating to the use or performance of the product.
- The Company shall not be liable for any damages relating to economic loss, property loss, loss of revenue or profits, loss of enjoyment or use, or removal or installation costs.
- We will not provide cash or other compensation for the costs of repairs or replacement parts, including, but not limited to, lost labor time, costs of loaner equipment, diagnostic visits, maintenance visits, or transportation costs.
- Some states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply to you. This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state or jurisdiction to state.
How do I obtain warranty service?
Claims must be submitted within the specified warranty period.
To receive service under this limited warranty, you must provide your order number at the time you discover the defect or deficiency. Your order number can be found in your order confirmation email. You will also need the email address used to place the order or other proof of purchase. Once verified, you may apply for a return, refund, exchange, or repair within the warranty period. Shipping charges will not be refunded and shipping costs for returns and exchanges will be borne by the customer. Items must be returned in their original packaging.
